Barcelona Nightlife…Razzmatazz in November

Razzmatazz, Barcelona’s premiere alternative music showcase, is a must for any nightlifers coming to town. Located in the up and coming barrio of Poble Nou, the club is huge consisting of five different areas, the Razz Club, the Loft, Lolita, Pop bar and Rex Room, each with a sound and vibe of its own.

Tickets cost anything upwards of 5 EUROS and can be booked at the ticket office or on the website Salarazzmatazz

More Events This Month in Barcelona

On top of Montjuic near the Olympic Stadium is the open-air cinema which shows contemporary movies most week-nights and is a great excuse for a picnic. The cinema boasts a gigantic screen and each mobie is preceded by a live gig by a local band. It’s only 4 € to get in and free transport is provided from Plaza España.

For art lovers the Modern Art Museum (MACBA) offers discounts throughout the summer. On Thursdays after 8 PM the entrance fee is only 3 €. At the end of the tour the Museum’s Terrace Bar is a charming spot for a glass of wine.

On the 22nd of August is FC Barcelona’s Gamper Exhibition game against Bayern Munich, which would be a marvellous way to visit the Nou Camp stadium. The Gamper game is an annual event celebrated in homour of its legendary founder, Joan Gamper.

Opera at the Liceu Theatre

Anyone who loves the opera and finds themself in Barcelona must pay a visit to the Liceu Theatre. The 2,292-capacity theatre is housed in a neo-classical building on Barcelona’s world-famous street, Las Ramblas.

On the 21st, 24th, 27th and 30th of July, Wagner’s epic Lohengrinwill set the pulses racing. Also showing in July are Puccini’s Madame Butterfly and Bellini’s I Puritani.

The year’s opera season is completed with performances of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito in october, Gaetano Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor in november and Puccini’s Lanon Mescaut in december.

Tours of the Museum are offered, gifting the visitor a chance to take in the stage, rehearsal areas and wardrobe and make-up rooms, as well as the Mirrored Salon, the Auditorium and the foyer.
